Our Mission

​

Our mission is to empower local leaders to build up their communities in some of the most remote and poorest parts of the world. 

 

Studies show that grassroots organizations accomplish more good, dollar for dollar, than other humanitarian organizations. A large number of grassroots organizations are founded by community members for community members - allowing for a culturally aware, relationship driven interventions. It’s our goal to help identify these grassroots organizations and local leaders and support them in the good work they are already doing. 

 

The projects we support are driven by local communities and the needs they identify ranging from:

• Homeless support

• COVID-19 relief 

• Food banks

• Community centers

• Skills training 

 

We help local organizations grow at a manageable, organic pace through slow, small donations. We create deep personal relationships with local leaders, helping them clarify their mission, set goals, create a budget, and organize workers and volunteers.
